Pediatric Physical Therapy

Carolina Strong Physical Therapy team serves infants, children, teens and young adults with special needs. We are committed to focusing on the whole family as we work together to help accomplish the goals and dreams of the child. We strive to make a difference in your child’s life. We assess each child individually, addressing life skills that are meaningful to the child and the family.

Our clinic helps children with developmental delays, autism, neurologic and orthopedic disabilities, sensory processing disorders, and a wide array of diagnoses. We currently offer physical therapy services that include an evaluation, individual treatment, consultation, and  parent/caregiver training.

Our highly qualified physical therapists treat children of all ages who have difficulties with motor skills. We help children become as independent as possible with respect to strength, endurance, balance, coordination, and mobility. This includes in the home, community, school and playground. Pediatric therapy is provided through a play-based approach to keep the child motivated and invested in the therapeutic process.

Our pediatric therapy team draws from years of expertise in a variety of pediatric therapy settings and approaches. We often make recommendations regarding assistive technology and assistive devices. Our team will help assess positioning and use/fit of adaptive equipment. Patient, family and teacher education and training are an essential part of our therapy program.
